As a key leader in the store, the GM is accountable for team development, managing P&Ls, and ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) in alignment with 85C Bakery Cafe's vision.
About 85C Bakery Cafe: Established in 2004, 85C Bakery Cafe is a renowned global bakery and beverage retail business. With over 1000 locations worldwide, we pride ourselves on offering five-star quality pastries and beverages at accessible prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales and profitability targets while maintaining personal sales performance and driving results through team efforts.
- Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse talent pool.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest, promoting desired behaviors through coaching and modeling.
- Uphold high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with performance standards, including adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; AA degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of two years of management experience in a bakery, restaurant, or fast-food environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Comprehensive understanding of 85C products and future concepts.
- Proven success in training, operational development, and customer service.
- Ability to foster an ownership mentality among oneself and subordinate managers.
- Familiarity with daily store operations from opening to closing.
- Experience managing high-volume stores with direct supervision of ten or more employees.
- Willingness to work full-time, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements: This role requires moderate physical activity, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat. Continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and overhead reaching are essential. Employees may encounter various environmental conditions, including temperature variations from coolers and freezers.
