The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Graduate Admissions Review Specialist to support our admissions team. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications for graduate admission, as well as communicating with applicants and their recommenders. You will work closely with the Admissions Manager to ensure that all applications are thoroughly reviewed and evaluated according to our department's guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate applications for graduate admission, including subjective and objective information
  • Culminate in an admissions recommendation based on your evaluation
  • Communicate with applicants and their recommenders regarding application status

You will be expected to consistently meet weekly application review expectations, keep up-to-date with communications and procedural changes, and apply feedback and guidance to improve your evaluation process. In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
