Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the early educational journey of our young students. As a member of our staff, you will work closely with our Assistant Director and Director to ensure a safe, stimulating, and engaging classroom environment that fosters emotional, social, and intellectual growth.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement educational curriculum and activities that cater to the diverse needs of our toddlers, promoting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
  • Classroom Management: Manage day-to-day activities, including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and potty training, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the classroom.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues to meet the needs of our students, promote a sense of community, and support the well-being of all stakeholders.
  • Observation and Record-Keeping: Monitor and document individual children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and informing instruction to meet their unique needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age (21+ for infant room positions), and at least one year of experience in a child care setting.
  • Certifications and Skills: Pass a Criminal History Check, possess high energy levels, and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, as well as technology proficiency.
  • Nice to Have: First Aid/CPR certification and CDA credential.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure reflects the current market conditions and is subject to review and adjustment as needed.
