Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Manitou Madison SD. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various types of weld and finishing operations, ensuring high-quality products and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various types of weld and finishing operations to meet quality standards.
  • Operate equipment and tools to locate, identify, and use proper fixtures and tooling.
  • Conduct pre and post-inspection on all welded parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications.
  • Assist in the development of work instructions and participate in the CI/PID Process.
  • Perform 5S Audits and Safety Stop Audits as required.
  • Assist other team members with technical issues and production problems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven record of good attendance and ability to deal with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively interpret blueprints and organize and prioritize work.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand as needed to perform essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to periodically walk and/or travel to other areas of the plant and other warehouses as directed.
  • Ability to use keyboard, reach above shoulder height, below the waist, and lift and file documents throughout the day.
