Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at University Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images
  • Demonstrate knowledge of thoracic anatomy and internal structural anatomy of the heart
  • Perform various leadership activities and behaviors
  • Comply with instructions from immediate supervisor and/designee
  • Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and University Health's employees, patients, doctors, and guests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • One of the following Registries: RDCS-with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or RCS-with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • At least two years of Echocardiography experience
  • Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support
