Respiratory Care Specialist for Children

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients in critical care units
- Utilize the respiratory care process to provide effective patient care
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Perform various respiratory care procedures, including ventilation and oxygen therapy
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric critical care RT experience
- Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- BLS from American Heart Association required
- NRP preferred
- PALS from American Heart Association required
- RRT recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and active Texas license required
- RRT-NPS recognized by the NBRC (preferred for CT OR) 2 Yrs required
- Initial Pediatric Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviors (PPMAB) training must be completed within 90 days of hire and be renewed annually (Plano and OCH locations only) 90 Days required
