This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of the Queens Forensic Psychiatric Evaluation Court Clinic (Queens FPECC) in the Division of Correctional Health Services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct court-ordered evaluations of criminal defendants and submit timely written reports to the Courts.
- Conduct psychological testing (intelligence, neuropsychological, personality, malingering, etc.) as needed.
- Provide teaching and supervision for clinicians in training.
- Participate in regular supervision with the Director of the Queens FPECC.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, clinic quality improvement projects, and continuing education.
- Remain aware of and in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- From time to time, as needed, conduct CPL 730 and CPL 390 evaluations in the other FPECC clinics (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan).
- Ph.D or Psy.D. degree.
- Valid license and current registration to practice as a psychologist, issued by the New York State Department of Education.
- Minimum Qualifications for Appointment to Assignment to Level II:
- Valid license and current registration to practice as a Psychologist issued by the NYSED; or
- Proof of passing licensing examination and proof that completed license application and all supporting documentation have been submitted to NYSED, which leads to licensure and registration, within six (6) months.

- In addition to base compensation, you will receive $4,855 annually if you are currently registered and possess a New York State license to practice as a psychologist.
