Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonography Specialist to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex sonographic equipment to perform a variety of examinations, from routine to highly specialized.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently operate equipment to perform sonographic examinations, including abdomen, chest, and vascular exams.
  • Review requisitions to ensure patient history and anatomical area of interest are consistent with requested exams.
  • Conduct neck, carotid artery, leg vein, and artery examinations, as well as assist Radiologists during invasive procedures.
  • Perform quantitative Doppler measurements and use color flow/power Doppler to evaluate vascular patency/pattern.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid ARDMS license, with experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and RVT disciplines.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography.

Working Conditions:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, and up to 20 lbs.
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance, and push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
