The successful candidate will provide oversight of speech-language clinical service provision by student clinicians, guiding them in providing evidence-based treatment and effective clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to student clinicians, ensuring they meet the standards of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Guide student clinicians in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
  • Monitor and evaluate student clinicians' progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with faculty members to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of clinical education policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Minimum of two years of post-CFY experience in SLP therapy provision
  • Current ASHA certification of clinical competency (CCC) and an Oklahoma state license
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Clinical mentoring or supervision experience preferred

Working Conditions:

The Adjunct Clinical Supervisor will work on a part-time basis, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The position requires frequent standing, sitting, and walking, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and colleagues.
