About the Role

At Catholic Health Initiatives, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Neurosurgeon to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a member of our Franciscan Medical Group, you will be part of a highly respected team of Neurosurgeons and Advanced Practice Providers at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy 385-bed Level II trauma center and DNV-certified comprehensive stroke center.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of clinical and surgical care involving spinal and cranial conditions, with a predominant focus on spinal cases and cranial cases based on surgeon interest. You will also be expected to:

  • Encourage innovation to improve quality patient care and the patient experience
  • Support clinical program development and high-quality neurosurgical care
  • Develop and maintain a culture that facilitates physician/APP engagement, well-being, diversity, equity and inclusion

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A medical degree
  • Board certification or board eligibility in neurosurgery
  • At least two years of experience, including trauma duties at a level II or higher ED
  • A Washington State medical license in good standing and an active DEA in good standing prior to start date

Compensation

The hourly pay rate for this position is $560.38.
