About the Opportunity

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking an experienced and dynamic Neurosurgeon to join our team at Franciscan Medical Group in Tacoma, Washington. As a member of our neurosurgery team, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly respected group of neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy 385-bed Level II trauma center and DNV-certified comprehensive stroke center.

Responsibilities

As a Neurosurgeon at Franciscan Medical Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical and surgical care for spinal and cranial conditions, with a focus on spinal cases and cranial cases based on your interest and expertise.
  • Encouraging innovation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and the patient experience.
  • Supporting the development of clinical programs and high-quality neurosurgical care.
  • Contributing to a culture that promotes physician and advanced practice provider engagement, well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our community orthopedic spine surgeons and our neurosurgery team at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A medical degree and board certification or board eligibility in neurosurgery.
  • At least two years of experience in neurosurgery, including trauma duties at a Level II or higher emergency department.
  • A Washington State medical license in good standing and an active DEA license prior to start date.

Compensation
$560.38 per hour
