About the Opportunity

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking an experienced Neurosurgeon to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy 385-bed Level II trauma center and DNV-certified comprehensive stroke center. We have a large referral capture with immediate case access.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve quality patient care and the patient experience
  • Support the development and growth of our neurosurgical program, ensuring high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to foster a culture of physician engagement, well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion

Working Environment

St. Joseph Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art facility with advanced resources, including Stryker Navigation, Medtronic Stealth, Leksell Gamma Knife, and Neuro ICU-PCU units. Our medical community has an excellent network of neuroscience physicians, including neurologists, anesthesiologists, critical care physicians, ED physicians, and PM&R specialists. We also have superb radiology support, including seven neuroradiologists and two highly skilled neurointerventional radiologists who treat complex neurovascular conditions.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible (American Board of Neurological Surgery)
  • Washington State Medical License in good standing, and an active DEA in good standing prior to start date
