Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department Observation Unit. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working independently to plan and implement nursing care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within our organization.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
- BSN degree.
- Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
