Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Professional Nurse to join our team as part of our ICU RN Residency Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Utilize the American Nurses Association's (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice to guide clinical decision-making and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice, quality, and research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
- BSN degree preferred.
- Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
