About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at OrthoArizona. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our orthopedic practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Explain procedures to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure by utilizing shielding equipment.
  • Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Document patient care services in the medical record.
  • Import outside imaging to our electronic medical record system.
  • Scan documents into the electronic medical record system.
  • Maintain accurate quality control logs and service records, as well as dosimetry badges, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and maintain radiology supplies.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
  • Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
  • Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Azizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
  • Maintain CPR certification.
