We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at OrthoArizona. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our orthopedic practice.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure by utilizing shielding equipment.
- Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Document patient care services in the medical record.
- Import outside imaging to our electronic medical record system.
- Scan documents into the electronic medical record system.
- Maintain accurate quality control logs and service records, as well as dosimetry badges, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and maintain radiology supplies.
- 1-2 years of experience in radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
- Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
- Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Azizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
- Maintain CPR certification.
