As a Material Technician at Rust-Oleum Corporation, you will be responsible for managing inventory control areas, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records in the BaaN System. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
• Control and store "QC Approved" materials from the Receiving Department in designated bin locations
• Accumulate raw materials needed for specific batches of Work in Process
• Enter lot numbers into the BaaN System under the corresponding batch number
• Maintain inventory control areas in a neat and organized manner
• Perform cycle counts as directed by the Purchasing and/or Production Departments, adjusting system inventory as necessary
• Conduct physical inventory as required by management
• Change inventory bin locations and/or minimum and maximum quantities as directed by the Purchasing Department
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift 25-70 pounds
• Capability to wear company-standard respirators as qualified by a fit test
