Job Summary

The Lead Director of Value-Based Contracting and Business Development is responsible for managing the portfolio of value-based agreements in the mountain and Arizona markets. This role reports directly to the market Chief Network Officer and has a matrix reporting relationship into the Mountain and Arizona Executive Directors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement value-based contracting strategies to meet network market performance objectives

• Collaborate with executive directors to understand the overall provider strategy in the market

• Work closely with the Engagement Management resources to optimize performance of value-based agreements

Requirements

A minimum of ten years of provider contracting experience, including value-based agreements

Knowledge of CMS value-based contracting methodologies and adoption

Strong communication skills, including the use of PowerPoint and presenting to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Population health experience, preferably in a healthcare delivery setting or with clinicians responsible for performing under value-based agreements

Value-based contracting experience across all segments, including commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid

CVS Health offers a competitive salary range of $100,000.00 - $231,540.00, as well as a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, and an award target in the company's equity award program.
