Job Summary:

As a Medical Office Assistant in our OBGYN department, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians in the examination and treatment of patients. Your duties will include preparing treatment rooms, interviewing patients, measuring and recording vital signs, and cleaning and sterilizing instruments. You may also be responsible for inventorying and ordering medical supplies, materials, and performing routine laboratory tests. Additionally, you will assist with clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and completing insurance forms.

Requirements:
  • Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year of experience directly related to the medical field
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $16.00 - $25.88 per hour, based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.
