As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and facilitating access to our comprehensive healthcare services.

This is a full-time (hourly) non-exempt position with competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient appointments and treatment schedules.
  • Regularly check in with patients to assess and document their progress.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful service to all patients and visitors.
  • Welcome patients and guests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications with patients, insurance companies, and external healthcare providers.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Process financial transactions and address patient billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate scheduling for external procedures with other healthcare entities.
  • Support administrative functions and ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to assist patients and their families.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines and scheduling requests.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and billing/insurance processes is a plus.
  • Preference for non-smoking and health-conscious candidates.
