We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatologist Clinician Educator to join our team at the Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital in the Bronx, NY.
About the RoleThe Division of Rheumatology is an academic practice sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and supported by the Montefiore Medical Center Rheumatology Fellows. The practice includes both inpatient and outpatient care, clinical supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Supervise and educate fellows, residents, and medical students
- Participate in academic and research activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
- Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
- Ability to speak Spanish highly desired but not required
- Ultrasound training preferred, but not required
- Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record System (EMR), such as Epic desired but can be trained
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required but can be trained
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional compensation package including 10% 401K company contribution after one year of service in addition to base salary, with 3% company contribution starting day one
