Job Title: Rheumatologist Clinician Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatologist Clinician Educator to join our team at the Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital in the Bronx, NY.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to the development of our Rheumatology practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of rheumatic diseases.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the art and science of rheumatology.
  • Contribute to the development of our Rheumatology practice, including the design and implementation of clinical programs and services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License.
  • Ability to speak Spanish highly desired but not required.
  • Ultrasound training preferred but not required.
  • Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
