Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead a team of reliability technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure timely and effective maintenance activities are performed.
  • Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to determine underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to design and implement equipment modifications or upgrades that improve reliability and performance.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reliability performance, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive improved machine availability.
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment, holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs, and policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) or more years in reliability engineering, maintenance management, or related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with predictive, preventive, and operator-based maintenance techniques and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability principles, predictive maintenance applications, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software and data analysis tools.
  • Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
