Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary medical equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, including restraining pets during examinations and treatments.
  • Monitor the comfort and well-being of hospitalized patients, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible care.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalyses, as directed by veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hospital protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services Coordinator and other team members to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and clients.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
