Fulfillment Center Network Specialist

Job Summary
This role will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting all hardware, peripheral components, and software applications in the Fulfillment Center.
You will ensure functionality and coordinate servicing as necessary.
Interfaces with Home Office Systems Division regarding the installation and operation of Fulfillment Center hardware, peripheral components, and software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and troubleshoots all FC/DC computer, telecommunications (voice and data), and copier hardware to include printers, terminals, RF units, controllers, IDF cabinets.
- Ensures all network components are operational, makes repairs, adjustments, and reconfigures systems as needed.
- Serves as a Project Leader for various systematic / operational projects within the Distribution Center.
- Reports status of projects to IT Supervisor and FIT Manager.
- Maintains comprehensive and detailed records of equipment inventory, problems, and failures.
- Cleans equipment as needed.
- Functional working knowledge of Microsoft office programs and office tools to troubleshoot and communicate computer concerns.
- Installs necessary communication equipment.
- Sets up individual user computers/workstations and peripheral devices on network.
- Identifies and resolves problems.
- Monitors software applications and file server to ensure functionality.
- Provides training and technical assistance to FC/DC users as necessary.
Requirements:
- 2 years computer operations with demonstrated familiarity with communications (voice, data, telecommunications) Warehouse/Order Management Systems or Windows NT administration.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Be flexible with changing demands and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to create pivot tables, graphs, complex formulas, macros, and Access database knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Compensation and Benefits
As a key member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
