About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Charlotte University Place. As a key member of our hotel's operations team, you will be responsible for leading the housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional sanitation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing housekeeping team to meet and exceed our standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of areas cleaned by room attendants, identifying and addressing any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working condition, making arrangements for repairs as needed.
  • Oversee the housekeeping department budget, taking inventory and ensuring a sufficient stock of cleaning supplies.
  • Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and the use of various cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in hospitality or guest services.
  • A High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar.
  • The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills.
