Shift Details: This position operates during the 3rd Shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Compensation: The hourly wage is $20.58, with an additional $0.50 for the shift differential.

Role Overview:

As a Material Handling Operator, your primary responsibility will be to manage forklifts, spotter trucks, and various other equipment to facilitate distribution activities. This includes shipping, receiving, handling raw materials, maintaining cleanliness, managing the yard, and utilizing the Warehouse Management System. You will be expected to meet and exceed all operational goals set by the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIV) and report any issues.
  • Change forklift batteries and assist colleagues in adhering to safe battery handling procedures.
  • Efficiently load outbound shipments to ensure timely and damage-free delivery.
  • Unload incoming trucks as directed.
  • Store products from Palletizers on production lines.
  • Support production lines with necessary supplies.
  • Receive finished goods and raw materials from vendors, ensuring they are free from damage.
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections on all loads entering and exiting the facility.
  • Participate in warehouse sanitation efforts and adhere to guidelines.
  • Engage in team meetings and pre-shift discussions.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with special projects or tasks in other areas as needed.
