Job Summary

ThyssenKrupp Supply Chain SVC is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for the movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. You will also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately remove and stock product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan
  • Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly
  • Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded
  • Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw
  • Cycle Counts
  • Identify, hold and segregate defective material
  • Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required
  • Perform general clean up
  • Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel
  • Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements
  • Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead
  • Train others when required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2 to 4 years of warehousing experience - especially in Metals industry
  • History of consistent dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills
  • Previous forklift certification
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
