Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of Engineering. The successful candidate will lead and manage our engineering team from our hub of operations in Lancaster, CA.

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating engineering for B2U's BESS project deployments in conjunction with the engineering team, engineering consultants, and operations team.
  • Determining priorities of the product roadmap in conjunction with the VP Engineering and management; leading the implementation of priority initiatives.
  • Overseeing processes and procedures for operations and assembly and construction to ensure safety and quality control assurance.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Project management, cost control, schedule development, and risk management skills.
  • Highly motivated, process-oriented self-starter who thrives in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within constraints.
  • At least seven (7) years of engineering experience.
  • At least five (5) years of engineering management experience.
  • At least five (5) years with BESS or power generation industry experience.
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
Location

The Senior Engineering Manager will be based at our Lancaster, CA location, with the option to work remotely.
