Position Summary
KVAL/KMTR is in search of a part-time Production Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage teleprompter and audio operations during newscasts
- Prepare for newscasts, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Studio and set readiness
- Audio-related tasks
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience is not mandatory; however, education and/or internship experience in television or a related field will be taken into account
Work Schedule:
- 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM & 9:30 PM - 11:30 PM / Monday - Sunday
- 4:20 AM - 8:30 AM / Monday - Friday
- Availability to work on weekends is required
- Flexibility for additional hours as needed
- Must be available to work on holidays
