Job Summary:

NDT Level II Technician Job Description:

HMT Tank Inc is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician to join our team. As an NDT Level II Technician, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Perform MFL, UT, MT, LT/BT, and PT inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of our products.
  • Collect and process inspection data, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Drive a vehicle safely in various environments, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Be proficient in standard computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients, facilities, and customers, promoting a positive attitude towards coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with HMT safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Education:

Applicants must have documented in-classroom training or work experience in the field of non-destructive testing. Technically competent and knowledgeable in current inspection codes, the ideal candidate will also possess certifications such as CPR and First Aid, TWIC Card, and AOCF and or PMT III.

Additional Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive team-oriented attitude is essential.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass DISA background and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Current Driver's License from state of residence and willingness to travel.
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
