Team Overview: The Regulatory Controls Management Team (RCM) plays a pivotal role in the centralized management of preventive (pre-trade) and detective (post-trade) controls and processes, ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements within the Global Banking & Markets division. The team is dedicated to the design, implementation, and enhancement of trading controls for Sales & Trading, which includes alert management and escalation to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant obligations, including the design of preventive and detective trading business controls for new regulatory implementations, and identify opportunities for enhancing existing controls. Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the design, workflows, and processes of preventive and detective controls across various obligations. Provide support for regulatory obligation coverage to effectively investigate and resolve trading control issues that may emerge. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and monitor the effectiveness of controls through alert management. Foster relationships with Sales/Trading, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Engineering teams globally to design and refine business control workflows for new regulatory implementations. Develop management reporting tools (metrics, dashboards) to enhance visibility and facilitate escalation to obligation owners, desks, and senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, with exposure to global markets and trade lifecycle, particularly in Sales & Trading workflows and/or regulatory contexts. Proficient in translating and analyzing data to conduct root cause analysis, trending, and impact assessments to inform decision-making. Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail; capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Experience collaborating with Sales/Trading, Engineering, Operations, and Change Management to facilitate issue resolution and support strategic initiatives. Familiarity with data blending and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI is advantageous, though not mandatory. Eager to cultivate a career within the Global Banking and Markets environment. Understanding of derivative products, sales & trading booking platforms, and trade flows.
