A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Exhibit leadership capabilities with a readiness to tackle challenges, guide team members, and effectively resolve conflicts
- Participate in post-award review meetings to gather project information and details for pre-construction planning
- Collaborate with the project manager to develop a schedule of construction activities, including manpower and equipment needs
- Oversee and manage the entire construction project to meet specifications within the designated timeline while maximizing profitability
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure effective performance within project timelines
- Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual expenditures
- Review and authorize all requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and other significant documentation
- Maintain ongoing communication with the project manager to keep them updated on job progress, plans, and potential issues affecting costs or schedules
- Keep a daily log to permanently document all significant project events, conditions, contacts, commitments, agreements, and approvals
- Ensure strict adherence to the company's safety protocols throughout all phases of the project
- Uphold integrity and a commitment to quality that reflects support for the company, its values, and its employees while maintaining a focus on exceeding client expectations
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead supervisor on large-scale warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or cold storage projects, each exceeding 100,000 square feet
- Willingness to travel across the country
- Proficiency in Procore is advantageous
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing or walking for extended periods, navigating uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds.
