Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our clients' technical staff to define, document, and prioritize the scope of work for a rebranding initiative. This project will touch all aspects of the organization, including systems, applications, websites, and intranet sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business capabilities, processes, needs, and user feedback. Work with business stakeholders and product owners to synthesize this information into a prioritized set of user-centric functional and technical requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather, analyze, and document solution requirements. Facilitate user story creation and backlog grooming in an agile delivery environment.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and documents from enterprise applications.
  • Project Delivery: Fully understand work effort and prioritize appropriately. Use Agile practices to perform test configurations and develop changes to meet requirements. Act as a liaison between the IT delivery team and business teams.
  • Prototyping: Organize or lead prototype development, participate in demos & user acceptance reviews, and work with technical leads on the creation of design documents and artifacts.
  • Quality: Work closely with QA to ensure systems are built and configured to requirements and design specification. Coordinate the development of the test plan, test cases, and facilitation of UAT.
  • Communication: Partner with project owners and project managers to develop content and deliver project communications and stakeholder management.
About You

We're looking for someone with a strong background in business analysis, IT consulting, and project management. You should have a BS in a technical field and experience with business requirement elicitation techniques, options prioritization, and analysis. You should also be able to facilitate small teams, guide work delivery, and quality. Experience with identity and access management, cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake), and data integration tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary with opportunities for additional incentives. Salary range for this role is $125,000-155,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Location

This role has some on-site requirements at our client's Seattle location, so we are only considering candidates who live within commuting distance to Seattle, WA.
