About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Care Coordinator to join our dynamic administrative team at Right at Home. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing care schedules for our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and caregivers to understand their scheduling needs, preferences, and requirements.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate, confirm, and manage care schedules for clients and caregivers, ensuring placements meet compliance and contract requirements.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of caregiver correspondence, availability, and schedules in our system.
  • Compliance: Ensure all placements adhere to applicable compliance and contract requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with office staff to address staffing shortages, enhance client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • On-call Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours emergencies or scheduling changes on a rotating on-call basis, ensuring clients' care needs are always met.
  • Recruitment & Training: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and managing personnel, as well as leading orientations and training, including hands-on caregiver training.
  • Representation: Occasionally attend company events and be knowledgeable about our services and mission.
  • Maintain a Positive Attitude: Exhibit a positive demeanor at all times and effectively multitask in a high-functioning office environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ years of verifiable homecare scheduling experience and 1-3 years of verifiable caregiving/homecare experience.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills and impeccable phone etiquette, strong ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment, and availability for on-call duty outside of regular office hours.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with medical scheduling software is preferred.
