Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Comfort Inn. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest account information, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
  • Mitigate customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding room bookings, rates, amenities, and special requests.
  • Welcome, register, and check-in guests, providing keys and room numbers, and recording credit card information.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience answering telephone calls and resolving stressful situations.
  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably as a hotel front desk agent or guest service specialist.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
