We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Lewis & Clark Community College. The successful candidate will provide educational support to students in the College for Life program, working closely with classroom instructors and coordinators to implement goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist classroom instructors in instruction and classroom management
- Participate in the implementation of goals and objectives of each student
- Provide individualized support services, including reading, note taking, and assistance with daily living skills
- Assist with mobility and student participation in school-sponsored activities
- Communicate with coordinators about student issues and assist with promoting the project and assigned students within the College and into the community
- High School Diploma or GED required, some college coursework preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Physical demands of the job require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 pounds
The Educational Support Specialist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of educators and support staff to provide exceptional student services.
