We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Director in Training to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. As a Nurse Director in Training, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our organization, developing your skills and expertise in healthcare leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Health Services and/or Director of Health Services in managing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department.
  • Learn and understand the policies and procedures that govern the level of care within the health campus.
  • Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
  • Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
  • Follow all safety regulations, programs, and policies and procedures.
  • Support campuses, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
  • Follow the company's policies and procedures regarding resident complaints and/or grievances.
  • Learn to determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department necessary to meet the total nursing needs of the residents.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Health Services and/or Director of Health Services in the recruitment and selection of nursing service personnel.
  • Participate in daily rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
  • Review and audit resident electronic health records to ensure that they are informative and accurate for the nursing care being provided.
  • Participate in daily rounds to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met in accordance with the resident's request.
  • Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
  • Responsible for weekend management coverage and on-call duties on a rotating basis or as needed.
  • Learn to lead campus programs, such as Clinical Care Meeting (CCM), Clinically at Risk Meeting (CAR), and Quality Assurance Program Improvement (QAPI).
Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a RN degree.
  • Must have and maintain a current unencumbered, valid state RN license and current, valid CPR certification required.
Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
