Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs and abilities of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure academic success
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in elementary education
Requirements
  • Valid Virginia professional license in an elementary endorsement area
  • One year of teaching experience or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual skills, including Spanish, are a plus
Working Conditions

This is a nine and one half month (200 days) contract position with excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced school environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of students and colleagues.
