The Opportunity:

Our client's Austin office is seeking an experienced Energy Regulatory Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions. Experience involving advocacy before state utility commissions, power transactions, and ISO/RTOs or organized power markets would be beneficial.

This role involves working closely with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources business unit. We're looking for someone with excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, and superior interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively handle multiple projects, articulate legal strategies, and work well under pressure is essential.

The successful candidate should have an active Texas bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $180,000
