Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and healthy environment that supports the development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a classroom of up to 20 children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement a research-based education and social-emotional curriculum, aligning with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop weekly plans that cater to individual children's needs, including those with Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) or Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, providing regular communication and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and adequate insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and maintain a physically active work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
