Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and healthy environment that supports the development of young children.

• Supervise a classroom of up to 20 children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Implement a research-based education and social-emotional curriculum, adapting to the needs of individual children.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, providing regular communication and updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching team.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety protocols.

• AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Current CDA (age-appropriate) or early childhood coursework.
• RIELDS certification (if not completed, complete when available).
• BCI and fingerprinting.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with childcare.
