Position Overview
The Product Merchandising Coordinator will serve as the product authority and advocate for a designated product line at Chadwell Supply, managing all merchandising efforts within the HVAC sector. This role involves close collaboration with Marketing, Purchasing, Renovations, and Sales teams to ensure accurate and effective product presentation, enabling customers to make informed purchasing decisions. The Coordinator will have diverse responsibilities, including the development of promotional initiatives, emphasizing specific products or trends, and coordinating with purchasing to ensure optimal product availability to boost sales.

Qualifications Required
  • Previous experience and knowledge in HVAC is essential.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years in sales and/or product marketing experience.
Impactful Contributions
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned business lines.
  • Drive incremental sales and enhance profitability through strategic marketing and pricing initiatives.
  • Oversee the introduction of new products to field sales and online customers.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to introduce new products, manage promotions, minimize overstock, and facilitate product disposal.
  • Partner with the Pricing Analyst to establish competitive pricing that benefits both the market and profit margins.
  • Gain insights into the customer base to understand their motivations and purchasing drivers.
  • Review customer feedback to forecast sales trends and seasonal inventory needs.
  • Research and track industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and shifts in buying patterns.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of various product displays, catalog placements, flyers, digital channels, and incentives.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Analyst to assess competitor offerings and identify opportunities for new products.
