Job Overview:

Accountable for delivering strategic and operational guidance for various functions within Payment Services Transaction Risk. This role will act as a subject matter expert in process enhancement, oversee reporting, vendor relations, and program oversight to ensure top-tier Transaction Risk and High Brand Risk initiatives. The position guarantees efficient and compliant operations while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Proactively manages and escalates risk and customer-related challenges in daily operations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders on process improvements, articulates operational implications, and proposes alternatives that may achieve similar goals with a more favorable operational impact (e.g., reduced costs, simplified processes), commits to strategies chosen by leadership, and spearheads their execution.
  • Plans, organizes, and implements activities that support business partner initiatives across the organization, ensuring operational expectations for timeliness, quality, and efficiency are met in collaboration with internal and external entities.
  • Manages relationships with business partners, including vendors, and oversees system-related projects from conception to execution.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact between business technology partners and operational teams.
  • Ensures the development and documentation of robust operational processes and procedures.
  • Continuously monitors service quality levels, identifies opportunities for enhancement, and collaborates with operations to elevate service standards.
  • Creates necessary remediation plans and ensures their prompt execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Customer Service, Financial Services Operations, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, 8 years of relevant experience in applicable business lines (Deposits, Personal Loans, Student Loans) may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • A Master's Degree in Business, Arts and Sciences, or a related field.
  • CAMS Certification or other relevant Compliance, Fraud, Audit, or related certifications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and/or experience in managing rule requirements, documentation, and transaction monitoring strategies.

Compensation:

The base salary for this position typically ranges from $88,500.00 to $149,000. Additional incentives may be part of a competitive total compensation package. Factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may influence the salary for this role.
