At Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Director of Resident Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a engaging and inclusive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation among residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify resident needs and preferences.
- Provide one-on-one support and companionship to residents, including sensory stimulation and reality orientation.
- Manage activity areas and ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements:
- Experience working with older adults and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred: Activities Director Certification.
