Job Summary:The Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky invites applications for an Open-rank Tenure-Track Position in Counseling Psychology. This is a nine-month appointment to begin August 1, 2025. Salary, fringe benefits, and initial operating support are competitive with other leading land-grant universities.
Responsibilities:- Teach counseling psychology graduate courses, including our course in social justice consultation and evaluation.
- Mentor master's and doctoral students, supervise dissertations, and provide professional service, including community engagement.
- Maintain an active research program and seek extramural research funding.
- Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Evidence of successful teaching and mentoring; record of research indicative of strong trajectory toward tenure and promotion at a high research productivity university.
- Eligibility for licensure in Kentucky.
- Experience securing extramural grant funding is highly desirable.
- Area of research focus is open with preference given to individuals with social justice/multicultural focus.
