Orlando Health is dedicated to delivering compassionate healthcare to children, adolescents, and young adults in Central Florida. With over three decades of service, our facility is situated in downtown Orlando and features 156 licensed beds designed for specialized pediatric care. Our Bert Martins Champions for Children Emergency Department & Trauma Center is the designated pediatric site for the Orlando Health ORMC Level One Trauma Center, providing exceptional trauma care.

Our hospital is recognized nationally for its outstanding pediatric services, supported by a team of pediatric subspecialty physicians and a nursing staff that has achieved Magnet recognition for excellence in nursing and high-quality patient care. For 11 consecutive years, we have been honored as one of the Best Children's Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and have received designation as a Top Children's Hospital by The Leapfrog Group for three consecutive years.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification:

  • No specific licensure required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years in a customer service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide guests to their designated areas within the facility as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital staff, departments, and their locations to effectively direct guests.
  • Provide information and assistance to all hospital personnel.
  • Address the needs of guests and team members through both phone and in-person interactions.
  • Conduct regular rounds in patient areas to identify and fulfill visitor and patient needs.
  • Foster strong working relationships with all hospital staff, management, and departments such as Volunteers, Social Work, and Home Health.
  • Assist Social Services with travel and accommodation arrangements for patients and their families.
  • Exhibit a caring demeanor and sensitivity to the concerns of customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and effective communication skills.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required training sessions and meetings.
  • Complete all mandatory educational requirements.
  • Take responsibility for personal professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
