Funciones Esenciales del Trabajo:
Se pueden hacer adaptaciones razonables para permitir que las personas con discapacidades realicen las funciones esenciales.

  • Realizar mantenimiento rutinario en terrenos, áreas de estacionamiento, entradas, etc., mediante corte, recorte,
limpieza, barrido, etc., según sea necesario/dirigido.

  • Llevar a cabo mantenimiento y reparaciones rutinarias en las instalaciones y equipos, incluyendo plomería,
yeso, electricidad, carpintería, mecánica, etc., según se indique, de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.

  • Limpiar ventanas y pantallas según se indique.
  • Reemplazar bombillas quemadas, incluyendo luces de salida, luces de techo, luces fluorescentes, luces de llamada
de habitación, etc., y realizar tareas de limpieza en lugares muy altos.

  • Servir unidades/sistemas de calefacción y refrigeración, según lo especificado por el fabricante, y en cumplimiento
con las políticas y procedimientos establecidos.

  • Realizar tareas de mantenimiento no programadas según se indique.
  • Mantener la planta y las instalaciones en buen estado, asegurando un entorno seguro, limpio y ordenado.
  • Fomentar un ambiente de énfasis positivo así como un entorno tranquilo en toda la
instalación.

  • Asegurar que los suministros de mantenimiento se hayan reabastecido en las áreas de trabajo según sea necesario.
  • Asistir a otros en el levantamiento de equipos pesados, suministros, etc., según se indique o solicite.
  • Otras tareas relacionadas que puedan ser necesarias o según lo indique su supervisor, director de departamento,
y/o administrador.

Calificaciones:

  • Debe poseer, como mínimo, un diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.
  • Debe ser capaz de leer, escribir y hablar el idioma inglés de manera comprensible.
  • Debe poseer la capacidad de tomar decisiones independientes, seguir instrucciones y aceptar
críticas constructivas.

  • Debe tener la capacidad de tratar con tacto al personal, residentes, miembros de la familia, visitantes,
agencias gubernamentales/personal y el público en general.

  • Debe estar dispuesto a trabajar en armonía con otros, así como estar dispuesto a tratar a los
residentes según el nivel de madurez en el que se encuentren actualmente.

  • Debe ser capaz de seguir instrucciones escritas y orales.
