We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Grammer Americas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Plant Safety and Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to achieve a zero lost time injury rate, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the coordination of maintenance personnel and resources, ensuring timely and effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Project Management: Support project launch strategies, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion of projects.
- Equipment Maintenance: Develop and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) orders for facilities and production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the procurement and distribution of utilities, including water, electricity, natural gas, compressed air, and waste disposal, as required for equipment installation and operation.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the skilled trades team to develop and implement training programs, ensuring employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring the overall success of the maintenance team.
- Project Completion: Ensure timely completion and implementation of projects, meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Cost, Schedule, and Timing: Achieve goals and objectives related to cost, schedule, and timing, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including PPAP, IATF 16949, and other product launch requirements.
- Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Education: An Associate's Degree or some formal technical training.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
