Job Overview

We are looking for a proficient HVAC Systems Installer to enhance our operations. This position entails the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The successful candidate will possess a robust technical background and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a diverse range of HVAC installations, including furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, heat pumps, ductless systems, tankless water heaters, and ductwork, adhering to specifications and regulations.
  • Experience with cast-iron and condensing boilers is essential.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in soft soldering, brazing, and Pro-Press techniques.
  • Measure and construct sheet metal fittings as required for ductwork installation.
  • Fabricate furnace plenums in the field and install standard residential ductwork.
  • Connect wiring and controls for HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct startup and testing of HVAC equipment to confirm proper functionality and efficiency.
  • Provide customers with explanations and demonstrations of system operations post-installation.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for each installation project.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend repairs or enhancements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards consistently.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an HVAC installer or in a similar capacity, with a preference for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Technical expertise and comprehension of HVAC systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or vocational training is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment:
  • Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors at various sites.
  • May require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as necessary.
