Job Overview

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our team. As a key member of our sales education team, you will be responsible for developing impactful learning experiences for client-facing teams, specifically Sales roles and Amazon Ads advertisers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into training curriculum and educational content.
  • Partner with sales leadership and subject matter experts to build, iterate, and execute training development.
  • Create content and curriculum that supports competency models developed for each role.
  • Use project management tools and skills to manage medium to large-scale projects.
  • Ensure adult learning principles and systematic instructional design are applied to create required learning solutions and programs.
  • Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment.
  • Lead process improvement efforts.
  • Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning, including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia-based assets.
  • Lead needs analyses and learning strategy development activities to improve individual and organizational performance through learning.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of design experience.
  • Available online portfolio.
  • Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions.
  • Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles.
